The Labor Day Pause Message That Protects Continuity

A 3-day weekend is not a 3-week ghost. Four lines to send before the holiday.

This owns the client-facing holiday continuity message. It is not a day-off system for you, and it is not the mid-August check-in. Labor Day 2026 is Monday, September 7.

The Four Lines

“I’m off [Sat–Mon]. We’re still in the work. Your next session is [date/time]. If something moves, use [reschedule link] before the 24-hour line in the cancellation policy.”

Send it now, while people are booking weekends. This is a continuity tap, not a renewal sequence. Capacity for September is a separate decision — you already set the cap.

How to Send It Once

One message, every active client, next date filled in. Do not write a unique essay. Continuity is a system.

Where Coaches Break

  • Disappearing and calling it rest. Rest with a date is rest. Ghosting is churn.
  • Writing a pep talk. They need the next slot, not a sermon.
  • Sending it Sunday night. Too late. The weekend already ate the thread.

The 3-Minute Action

Paste the four lines. Fill the dates. Send to every active client with a session on either side of the holiday. Then stop editing.
